Girl Guides Tasmania is a member of Girl Guides Australia.
It is part of the largest volunteer organisation for girls and women in
the world, the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts which
has 144 member countries with over 10 million members.
The mission of Guides Australia is to enable girls and young women to grow into confident,
self-respecting, responsible community members.
Our unit is for all girls aged 10-14 years
Come along on MONDAY NIGHTS 7-9pm at the Margate Hall
So far this year we have: attended the Guide Scout Regatta over the March long-weekend and participated in many water and land-based events. Made Easter crafts. Learned some basic first aid. Participated in the Snug ANZAC day service. Made mothers day gifts. Experienced some wacky science. Modelled garbage bag fashion. Learned about the UN Global Action Themes.
